Rabbi Avraham Feldman

Night seder rebbe - shana bet; hashkafa- shana alef

Rabbi Feldman has been on staff at OJ for close to 20 years and has been the catalyst for the success of so many of the talmidim over the years.

Rabbi Feldman was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, attended yeshivos in Montreal and New Jersey, and received his B.A from Columbia University.

He moved to Eretz Yisroel in 1978, received his Semicha from Yeshivas Netzach Yisrael in Jerusalem, and settled in the Har Nof section of Yerushalayim.

Rabbi Feldman is known for his intense passion for learning- for developing structured and productive seder time - as evident in his rigorous Shana Bet night seder regimen. The talmidim begin to internalize what it means to learn at a productive pace, while demanding from oneself to work at understanding the Gemara solely through chavrusa learning. This, he feels, is the key towards independent learning, which will serve as the lifeline for one's ability to continue productive learning, while attending University and/or future professional life.

His lively "hard core" Hashkafa/Mussar shmoozes are cherished and anticipated, in which he discusses "life issues", to prepare the talmidim for life after yeshiva with solid relationship skills and strong Torah values.
